I have known Michael Jackson since August of 2010. He came highly recommended by John Perry and good friends of mine the owners of Fields Music in LA. Michael started working for me by tuning, voicing and regulating a Steinway B. When he finished the piano, my comment was that the only place I had heard a piano like this was in NY at Steinway Hall and the factory.
During my 20 years at the Denver Steinway dealer, I had to constantly take my customers to NY to select pianos because they were never as good as the one he did in my store. Unfortunately, the technician Wells Music used to work on their Steinway pianos was unable to bring them up to the level of Steinway pianos in NY. Those customers included Carolyn Shaak, DU, Metro/UCD,CSU and several churches. His work is impeccable and his work ethic is unsurpassed. He considers each piano that he works on a representation of who he is. Even if a job takes 20 to 30 hours he spends the entire time making the piano perfect.
